Can you get a bird if you already own some other pet?

Yes if you have a pet that doesn’t get jealous or needs a ton of attention. If you have, say, fish or maybe a frog, you’re okay to have a bird. Just make sure the bird doesn’t fly into the tank because they can drown within seconds.

However, if you have a dog or some other animal that needs more support, I wouldn’t recommend getting a bird. Not only will you not have enough time, but either the bird won’t like your other pet or your other pet won’t like the bird. Either way, they might end up fighting. Don’t risk it.
